More than 150 people attended the 8th European Organic Congress in Bari. The congress focused on implementation of innovative ecological solutions for farmers and rural communities. The participants exchanged their views on the European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability (EIP-AGRI), the rural development and the organic regulation review.

This year, participants will have the opportunity to engage with leaders and policymakers from the Latvian and Luxembourgish EU Presidencies, the European Commission and Parliament and take part in designing an organic future. At the congress it will be explored how the new organic regulation process and the CAP introduced in 2014 can be used to support the development of organic agriculture.
