The first Master Class was for ERA-net project managers, sharing their experiences on managing ERA-nets, with specific focus on the projects where the European Commission adds funds for research, e.g. CORE Organic Plus.

Future ERA-nets will be with cofund from the EC, and the experiences gained are very valuable for future managers.

Ulla Sonne Bertelsen co-chaired the meeting and presented the experiences from CORE Organic on how the ERA-net is successful in optimising the use of national funds and raise the level of scientific excellence across countries. All the participants learned important tips and tricks for their current or future work. 

PLATFORM brings together the European Research Area Networks (ERA-NETs) in the area of the Knowledge Based Bioeconomy (KBBE) with the aim to improve exchange and cooperation between ERA-NETs and strengthen their contribution to the European Research Area in the Knowledge Based Bioeconomy.
