The project will be co-ordinated by IFOAM EU, which has extensive experience with EU projects (FP7, DG AGRI and DG ENVI projects). The tasks of the coordinator include:
- planning and progress monitoring of the project
- safeguarding the quality and coherence of activities
- facilitating the communication between project participants
- control of the necessary interactions between the work packages
- preparation and timely delivery of technical and financial reports
- communication with the Commission
- drawing up and negotiating a consortium agreement with all participants
- planning and preparation of project meetings
- preparation of the minutes of meetings
- distribution of financial resources to project partners
IFOAM EU will be assisted by FiBL which will assure the overall scientific soundness of the project.
